PROJECT MVMNT Launches At MAGIC Market Week

PROJECT, the world’s preeminent advanced contemporary men’s and dual fashion marketplace, introduces PROJECT MVMNT, which will debut February 19, 2013, to MAGIC MARKET WEEK in Las Vegas. With the growing prevalence of modern youth culture in the fashion industry, MVMNT inspires innovation, supports commerce and curates resources for this developing genre.

PROJECT MVMNT will unveil up-and-coming brands and designers bringing together unique trendsetters within skate and street, to feature their fresh take on fashion.  Clique, a segment of PROJECT MVMNT, will serve as a concept area with an ensemble of forward-thinking, progressive streetwear brands that are creating and forecasting trends in modern, inspiring ways. PROJECT MVMNT will further underscore its diversity by integrating cutting-edge initiatives to the show, including: STREET HEARTS, an area spotlighting leading female streetwear designers; and MOOD BOARDS, a series of trend displays curated by top fashion figures including Union Los Angeles store owner Chris Gibbs and fashion stylist Mariel Haenn.

“PROJECT MVMNT is taking an entirely new approach to showcasing youth culture,” says Kenny Mac, Show Director. “By creating expertly merchandised segments we are supplying brands and buyers with an experience that’s ahead of the curve and filled with resources.”

As a destination within the PROJECT portfolio, PROJECT MVMNT is dedicated to elevating and expanding the business of modern youth culture.  The brands of this ever more influential category will have access to the breadth of retailers and resources it deserves. Brands featured in the launch of PROJECT MVMNT will include: Staple, Diamond Supply, Ice Cream, Neff, DGK, Supra, Joyrich, G-Shock, AH by Android Homme and Good Wood.
