by Tyler Durden

code-gates

Code.org is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing computer programming education. In a new promotional video, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and others encourage students to learn how to code and discuss their first experiences with coding. Code.org wants to increase the availability of programming classes in schools. There is a petition on its website stating that every student should have the opportunity to learn to code, which visitors can add their name to.

The video features the founders of Microsoft, Facebook, and Twitter, along with others from the tech industry and some celebrities. Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey, Will.i.am, Chris Bosh, Tony Hsieh, Drew Houston, Gabe Newell, Ruchi Sanghvi, Elena Silenok, Vanessa Hurst, and Hadi Partovi appear in the short film video.
